NTT on the Hunt for a Bargain?

NTT is recovering it's 16% investment in AT&T Wireless thanks to Cingular's bid for that company. This leaves NTT with cash looking for something to buy. We believe that MCI would be a nice target as it is expected to emerge from bankruptcy shortly. Further NTT will be a nice marriage partner for the "new" MCI, offering deep pockets, extensive reach and influence in AsiaPAC. Users with MCI may go through one more round of turmoil as potential suitors line up.
