Customer: Fortune 100 Pharmaceuticals Corporation

Industry: Healthcare

Situation: The process began with the client issuing an RFP to carriers for their voice & data network. However, the RFP was not comprehensive and only included a portion of the clients spend. The client was leaning towards keeping services with existing carriers, but desired improved rates and performance. Due to the complexity of the process and the interference of other factors, the process became frozen and the client did not act on the bids they received from the carriers. Several issues were complicating the process and causing debate.

ProfitLine Solution: The client agreed to have ProfitLine perform the qualitative and quantitative analysis that found yielded impressive findings and presented to a client executive team. After seeing the analysis and understanding the prospect of being able to complete a negotiation within 60 days, the client also engaged ProfitLine's staff of domain experts to perform the Renegotiation of client's voice & data master agreements with their two existing carriers. Analysis included financial modeling for service provider change and MPLS technology migration.
