MyTelcoManager® is the most intelligent, robust and flexible Web-based platform in the industry. It's used by ProfitLine to manage millions of transactions for some of the world's largest organizations.


Underlying all of our processes, MyTelcoManager enables the majority of telecom invoices to be input, validated, cross-checked, paid, audited and allocated in a fully automated manner. It also provides you with complete visibility into your spend and control over many of the parameters that determine how we manage it.

Scalable, Extensible, Intelligent, Flexible

MyTelcoManager is a software platform with a web services and distributed database architecture based on standard Microsoft .NET and MS SQL technologies, all running on standard hardware. This loosely coupled modular architecture enables ProfitLine processes to be scaled independently to handle virtually any volume of work in any area of the telecom expense management lifecycle.

It also enables us to evolve MyTelcoManager in a rapid, incremental manner. Over time we're deepening the level of detail our systems operate at when performing checks and validations against telecom orders, bills and inventory. As a result, they're ever more precise in detecting irregularities that may point to vendor mistakes, underutilized assets and other opportunities to save or recoup expense.

The platform incorporates proprietary ProfitLine intelligence in the form of business rules encapsulating deep knowledge of carrier operations and hundreds of best practices garnered from decades of experience in telecom expense management. Because these business rules can be modified, we can rapidly configure our systems to your requirements for speedy implementations. We can also reconfigure rules at any time to accommodate your changing needs as well as vendor billing format changes (a frequent occurrence that can become an ongoing nightmare for organizations trying to handle their own telecom expense management).

Interoperable, Available, Secure

MyTelcoManager interoperates with many types of enterprise applications and supports the broadest range of data feed and exchange options (EDI, CSV, XML, ASCII, TXT, XLS, paper, etc.) in the industry. However you receive your bills, we can bring them into our processes and extract the necessary data from them. ProfitLine can also readily add new external communication capabilities as technologies and industry methods advance.

ProfitLine processes operate with 99% uptime during core business hours across ProfitLine's industrial-strength network. Our network is built on Cisco equipment with several layers of redundancy and round-the-clock live monitoring by a Cisco Certified partner. The MyTelcoManager application itself is clustered or load balanced in an N+1 architecture on multiple servers at all three tiers to ensure application redundancy.

We maintain a world-class co-location facility and primary data center, as well as two secondary data centers, with multiple connection methods on the wide area links between these locations. Our Internet connection consists of three carriers, and ProfitLine's VoIP infrastructure has the ability to redirect calls to another location in the event of a local disaster.

The ProfitLine network operates with a single point of entrance, protected by a redundant firewall with aggressive rules; another point of entrance can be brought online instantly in the case of a disaster. The internal network is protected by IDS, IPS, web filtering, anti-virus and VLAN segmentation and patch management. All network nodes are continually scanned to detect vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with ProfitLine's rigorous, mature security policy. Changes to network infrastructure, system patches and new hosts or services are all thoroughly tested to ensure that they meet these stringent requirements. ProfitLine conducts a quarterly third-party penetration test and an annual SAS70 Type II audit.
