ProfitLine Receives High Growth Award
Association of Corporate Growth Recognizes ProfitLine as One of the Fastest Growing Companies in San Diego
Monday, June 09, 2003 — ProfitLine, Inc., the premier provider of telecom administrative outsourcing, has received the Association for Corporate Growth's High Growth Company Award for its record growth over the past five years. The San Diego Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth held an awards ceremony June 5, where ProfitLine was honored for being one of the fastest-growing private companies in the San Diego region.
Founded in 1992, ProfitLine has achieved a growth rate of 660 percent over the past five years. The company manages hundreds of millions of dollars annually in telecom spend for its Fortune 1000 clients such as Rite Aid, Fox Entertainment Group, CNA Financial Corporation, Ernst & Young, and Allied Domecq.
Chief executive officer Rick Valencia gave a short speech at the awards ceremony in which he thanked his staff. "We are thrilled to be recognized by the Association of Corporate Growth for our company's expansion. It proves we are answering a critical need in enterprises today—an outsourced solution for managing their complex telecom bills," said Mr. Valencia. "Our growth is the result of our strong business model, our dedicated management team and most importantly, the teamwork displayed by the entire ProfitLine staff."
San Diego National Bank was the title sponsor of the event, and the San Diego Business Journal served as the media sponsor.
