ProfitLine Expands Executive Team with Addition of CFO, Vice President of IT, and Director of Marketing
Tuesday, April 30, 2002 — ProfitLine, Inc., announced today that it has expanded its senior management team with the addition of Michael Reynolds, chief financial officer, Tina Campillo, vice president of information technology, and Gary Foster, director of marketing.
ProfitLine provides a full range of business process outsourcing solutions that manage the lifecycle of voice and data services and reduce communications costs for Fortune 2000 companies. The company's dramatic growth over the last two years has made it necessary to bring on experienced, senior executives in key areas to help in steering this growth.
"We have been working hard to create the perfect mix among our management team," said Rick Valencia, CEO and founder of ProfitLine. "These are experts in the functional areas of finance, marketing, and product development, and are a great combination with the extensive industry experience that comes from the executives who have been with the company for many years. The addition of Mike, Tina and Gary has really rounded out the team well."
Michael Reynolds, Chief Financial Officer
Reynolds joined ProfitLine in October 2001, bringing with him more than 20 years experience in financial and operational management of both publicly traded and privately held technology companies, including raising capital, investor relations, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial and investment banking relationships. Prior to joining ProfitLine, he served as vice president, finance and CFO for a number of business process outsourcing and technology companies, including SeminarSource, WebSideStory, Inc., Elemental Software, DataTree Corporation, and Interactive Group, Inc. Reynolds began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, and earned both his B.S. in Business Administration and M.B.A. from San Diego State University, and is a certified public accountant.
Tina Campillo, Vice President of Information Technology Campillo joined ProfitLine in February 2002 to guide the company's technology advances. Campillo has more than 17 years of experience in technology management, including serving as vice president of technology for Ignite, an Internet consulting company later known as Groundswell, where her teams provided application development of knowledge management tools for FedEx, Nike, and Public Storage. Campillo earned her B.A. in Sociology from Harvard University.
Gary Foster, Director of Marketing
Foster joined ProfitLine in April 2002 to lead the company's growing marketing and media relations efforts. Foster's 18 years of marketing experience includes expertise in market research, segmentation, and sizing; product development and management; public, media, and analyst relations; marketing communications; marketing strategy; events and promotions; sales and sales management; and advertising. Before joining ProfitLine, he served as director of business data solutions for Qwest Communications in Denver, and has also held management positions with The Kroger Company and Franklin Covey Co. Foster earned a B.A. in International Business from San Diego State University and an M.B.A. from the University of Utah.
