Title: Sales Director, Northeast
Description: This Sales Director position services the Northeast region (preferred location: New York/New Jersey, Boston, or Philadelphia). This position will be responsible for sourcing, qualifying, and selling ProfitLine products and services to large targeted corporate customers, for up-selling to existing accounts, and assisting ProfitLine's Operations team in managing client satisfaction and account retention. This position requires an individual who is ready for a challenge and has a proven sales track record with consistently meeting a multi-million $ sales quota with successive growth over the years.
Responsibilities: • Qualify, contact, sell, and service clients (lead generation through closing and relationship management)
• Understand clients' problems and provide solutions that provide business value
• Understand the competitive environment and differentiate ProfitLine
• Develop proposals and RFPs
• Recommend new product ideas
• Sell business value through a consultative sales approach
• Develop and implement account plans
• Negotiate deals
• Prepare forecasts/reports, keep sales databases and client account records current
• Represent ProfitLine at industry conventions/shows/meetings
Qualifications: • Minimum 10 years professional sales and telecom industry/enterprise software/system sales experience.
• Must have applied knowledge of sales strategies and techniques, training, sales administration, setting sales goals, achieving/exceeding targets and meeting annual budget.
• Successful negotiation experience of $400k - $1M deals.
• High level of energy and proven team player. Experience in emerging technologies such as Wireless and VoIP is desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills.
• Must be a self-starter, resourceful, and computer literate.
Education: Bachelor degree required
Salary: Base, Commission, Car Allowance
